Volunteers who work with children and youth are required to be cleared through the Diocese of Dallas's Safe Environment process. To be cleared, a volunteer must complete the online Safe Environment screening form, be interviewed by the ministry leader, and participate in an annual online training session. Please select your appropriate Safe Environment status:

Select three (3) DIFFERENT choices for which you are interested in volunteering. "Centers" are the stations the children rotate to. "Grade-Level Guides" travel with the same group of children to each of the stations. Some of the roles require availability to plan and prepare during Work Week , which will be held July 14-18 . These roles are indicated below.
REGARDING WORK WEEK: Even if your role does not require you to be present during work week, we need as many adults as possible to help us prepare and to supervise/direct our wonderful youth volunteers. Please try to save these dates if you are able!
About the nursery program offered only to volunteers
A nursery is provided ONLY for children/grandchildren of volunteers. The nursery will be provided free of charge, for children two and younger. If you plan to have a nursery-aged child with you during your volunteer week of VBS, please be sure to complete a VBS nursery registration form for your child. The link for this registration will be included in your email confirmation once you complete this form.
Media Consent & Social Media Communications
On occasion, video recordings, audio recordings, photographic slides, and photographs are taken of participants during church and diocesan sponsored activities. These are utilized in newsletters, websites, event promotion, advertisements and other printed media. As the State of Texas does not prevent audio or video recording or the photographing of participants for good and valuable consideration, I hereby grant to Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church the irrevocable and unrestricted right to make, use and/or publish any and all photographs, videos, and other images of me/my minor child or images in which participant may be included, now existing or hereafter made, in any case, with or without identifying participant for editorial, advertising, news, or any other purpose and in any manner and medium; to alter the same without restriction; and to copyright the same. On behalf of myself and/or my child, I specifically waive all rights to privacy and confidentiality with respect to name, likeness, voice, photographs, images, video recordings, audio recordings and identifying information. I hereby release and agree to fully and unconditionally protect, indemnify, and defend Our Lady of Angels, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Dallas, and their respective officers, agents, and employees, (collectively, “Indemnitees”) and hold each Indemnitee harmless from and against any and all costs, expenses, attorney’s fees, claims damages, demands, suits, judgments, losses, or liability for injuries to property, injuries to persons (including participant) and from any other costs, expenses, attorney fees, claims, suits judgments, losses, or liabilities of any and every nature whatsoever arising in any manner, directly or indirectly, out of, in connection with, in the course of, or incidental to the use or publication of any photographs, videos, or other images of participant, REGARDLESS OF CAUSE OR OF THE JOINT, COMPARATIVE, OR CONCURRENT NEGLIGENCE OF THE INDEMNITEES.
