To approach Confirmation through this program, you must meet the following criteria:

•  Registered member of Our Lady of Angels
•  At least 18 years of age
• Practicing Adult Catholic (regular Mass attendance)
• If married, must be married in the Catholic Church


•  Already received the sacraments of Baptism and Eucharist

Provide OLA with your Baptismal Certificate from the church of your Baptism.  It needs to have been produced on or after January 1, 2027 and include the notations. If you have questions about what this means, ask parish clergy or staff.

Confirmation Sponsor
Men and women who are preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation will have a sponsor who walks with them & intentionally supports them during the preparation process.

Sponsors are encouraged to attend classes, although it is not required.   If your spouse is your sponsor and you have school aged children, sponsor participation is optional.


Sponsors must meet the following requirements:


•      Sponsor must be a baptized Catholic who has received Eucharist and Confirmation


•      Currently living a sacramental life (e.g., attending Mass regularly)


•      If married, in a marriage recognized by the Catholic Church

•   Click here for the link to the Sponsor Letter of Good Standing.  The Sponsor is the person who fills this out.  If the sponsor is an OLA parishioner, nothing further is needed.  If not, the sponsor will take the completed form to their parish to be signed and stamped with the parish seal.

If you do not have a sponsor, the parish will assist you in finding one.
