Caring Assertiveness:  Relating Directly, Honestly, and with Respect
As we quickly approach the new year many of us are looking forward to embracing healthier choices and better approaches to our relationships with God and others.  Caring Assertiveness encourages, empowers, and guides readers along a journey of growth as they build skills for a better, more fulfilling way of relating that will benefit them and all those they interact with. Many people mistakenly equate assertiveness with being pushy, self-centered, or rude. Real assertiveness, however, means relating in ways that respect one’s own thoughts, feelings, wants, and needs as well as the thoughts, feelings, wants, and needs of others. This study will help us respond with the gentle confidence that honors both God and others.
